Product Cover Image Guidelines

To ensure consistency and quality across our platform, please follow these guidelines for your product cover images.

General requirements
All products should feature images in a size of 20 x 30 cm or a similar ratio, adhering to the standard portrait photo ratio.

Handmade items

For your handmade item cover photos, choose one of the following options:

Have your item captured during a Makers Gathering and use the photo provided.
Photograph your item on the provided hanger, ensuring the image is clear and the item is well-presented. If you haven’t received a hanger, please notify us in the Makers Whatsapp Group. Use an app like Canva to remove the background and set it to #F4F0E6.
Create a line drawing of your item and overlay it with a photo of the fabric used. Use a #F4F0E6 background.

Sewing accessories

For sewing accessory cover images, please follow these specifications:

Photograph your sewing accessories or use the photos provided by the wholesaler.
Use Canva to remove the background and change it to #F4F0E6.

Patterns

For pattern cover images, please follow these specifications:

Set the background color to #F4F0E6.
Add a 20 x 4 cm color block at the top in #6C7D77.
Overlay the text “Sewing Kit / Pattern” in the center of the color block, using Kaftan Serif font, size 42, and color #F4F0E6.
Include a line drawing of your pattern items in black lines filled with white in the center of the image.
