Atelier Félie

At Atelier Félie, we believe in slowing down and creating with care. What started as a few handmade pieces at home has grown into a small studio and brand built around craftsmanship, calm, and connection.

We design timeless clothing for people who value quality and creativity over speed. Each piece is created thoughtfully, using natural materials and made to last for years.

Our work combines the rhythm of handcraft with the beauty of collaboration. We partner with skilled makers close to home who share our values of precision, patience, and purpose. Together, we keep the process small-scale and meaningful.

We also want to inspire others to start making.Through our paper and digital patterns, curated fabrics, workshops, and our free Sewing Made Simple e-book, we help people experience the same quiet joy that comes from creating something with their own hands.

Félie is about finding beauty in the process, not perfection. It’s about choosing slow, thoughtful design and keeping human hands at the heart of every piece we make.

Our team

 Dewy – Maker

From a young age, Dewy was drawn to the world of fashion. Her formal education in fashion design began in Amsterdam and Tilburg, where she enhanced her knowledge and skills through additional coursework focused on garment design and construction. After experiencing a significant life change in 2010, Dewy decided it was time to step out on her own and launch her brand. In 2021, she founded T’ Atelier, which encompasses several business lines including outsourced sewing for small businesses, sewing seminars, and the production and distribution of its own designs throughout the Benelux region. Dewy is committed to sustainability, frequently utilizing deadstock and upcycled clothing in her work.

Jacomien – Maker

Jacomien is professionalized as a social worker. She works with refugee families, mainly women and children from Eritrea. She started designing and sewing her own clothes when she was a young girl, together with her aunt. Currently she is involved as a maker at Atelier Félie and is working on starting her own atelier together with refugee women in her area.

Annewil – Maker

Annewil is a passionate maker at Atelier Félie, bringing a thoughtful, hands-on approach to every piece she crafts. Her journey into sewing and embroidery began during her first pregnancy, when she started transforming pre-loved garments into meaningful outfits for her children. This early practice of upcycling sparked a lasting commitment to sustainability. At Atelier Félie, Annewil infuses her creations with the same care and creativity—giving materials a second life, and making each item as unique and joyful as the stories they’re part of.

Sanne – Founder

I founded Atelier Félie after years of chasing deadlines and missing the feeling of creating something real. Sewing started as a way to slow down, to use my hands, to see progress, to breathe. What began at my kitchen table grew into a studio where I can share that same calm and joy with others. I love the small details: the sound of fabric cutting, the first stitch, the way a garment takes shape. Through Atelier Félie, I hope to inspire others to make more, buy less, and find beauty in the simple rhythm of doing things by hand.
